Our academic programme is rooted in Nepal’s national curriculum and complemented with international best practices, ensuring students have a strong understanding of core subjects, while offering a localized curriculum to provide environmental, outdoor, and global education learning opportunities. Our curricular initiatives emphasize experiential learning, interdisciplinary approaches, environmental action, and community service. 

 

We engage students in meaningful learning activities that instill an appreciation and sense of responsibility for our surrounding environment, community, and region, while developing social, academic, leadership, and stewardship skills. Our programme also prepares students for the future by teaching life and career skills.

 

Our pedagogical approach is best defined as place-based active learning; we believe that the key to successful learning is being a fully engaged and active partner in discovery, learning globally while staying rooted in the local context. Across the curriculum, we utilize place-based pedagogy to curate an understanding and respect for nature and our community, and to connect our students to the local geography, environment, history, and cultural context.
