How did I cross the ocean?
without overcoming fear to
cross lakes and ponds!
with awful imaginations
keeping me inside a dark room.
with only one hole to see this beautiful world.
I do understand the meaning of life.
indeed, I wish everything was.
fair for everyone
why only female
are not treated fairly?
“Oh! period pains! you come suddenly and,
give a series of heart attacks.”
Like rivers that flow only forward,
the heart-wrenching pain of one period
is carried over to the next, never-ending and heartless.
The only thing to do during the dysmenorrhea
is to taste the salty water that drops down from
our eyes, why? fun and frustration at once,
“Is it because I am a girl?
or a fierce storm unleashed, with fierce and savage might,
That rages unrestrained & unaffected.
Even in heaven, I'm trapped in this hell,
I no longer wanna be a girl
Destined to live a life so strange.
A girl I was born, a girl I'll stay,
No power to change, no way to rebel,
Against nature's force, I feel so powerless.
Those seven days, once a month,
feels like spending a miserable life in a dark cave,
though constant battle goes on to escape from the dark cave.
Meanwhile, the sun never shines in the mysterious cave.
Where the rays cover the sky with its orange fresh blanket.
Why do no parents ask their daughter?
What does she want to celebrate?
why don't societies help females
to bring positive vibes
and positivity about her periods?
“Oh! period pains! Sudden and fierce, like a heart attack.
Yet we endure, for we are warriors at heart,
Strong and resilient, though torn apart.
