Kumbhakarna Budha, famously known as Gopi, is a dynamic football player and Head Coach at Kopila Valley School. Hailing from Kanaka Sundari-4, Jumla, he joined KVS in 2067 B.S. as a Sports Teacher, where his passion for the game and leadership skills quickly set him apart. With a natural talent for mentoring and an unyielding dedication to his players, Gopi has transformed the sports culture at the school, building a reputation for excellence both on and off the field.
As the Women’s Football Coach for Karnali Province, Gopi has led his teams to remarkable success, winning an impressive 8-9 district championships. His ability to inspire and train athletes has made him one of the most respected figures in the local football community. Under his guidance, two of his players have gone on to become international soccer stars, a testament to his extraordinary coaching abilities.
Gopi's achievements are a source of pride not only for Kopila Valley School but also for the broader Karnali region.
